0Do you love visiting the Swamp to see your favorite river otters?
Charismatic, dynamic, and outgoing, Benny is a favorite of the guests who visit The Swamp at Brookfield Zoo.
Now imagine having the opportunity to truly know him, and to play a key role in providing top-notch care for the animals of Brookfield Zoo by becoming Benny's VIP Lead Patron.
What would this look like?
There are so many reasons to take part in this exclusive opportunity!
As Benny's VIP Lead Patron, your family name will be on display at the Swamp at Brookfield Zoo for one year (beginning July 1, 2021). You will have special VIP access, allowing you to truly get to know this outgoing otter. This includes:
- An exclusive chat with Benny's animal care team, VIP parking, and a cart tour for six.
- A Zoom chat or Birthday shout out with a member of Benny's animal care team.
- Regular video and written updates - allowing you up close and personal (but safe!) face to face access.
- Additionally, you'll receive photos, cards, and name recognition in the Chicago Zoological Society's Annual Report.
You can help make a difference by sponsoring Benny at the VIP Lead Patron level.
More about Benny
Benny, who resides in the Swamp, celebrated his 17th birthday on March 5, 2021. He is a guest favorite, interacting along the glass edge of his pool throughout the day and swimming with mate Charlotte. While Benny's daily diet consists mainly of fish, green peppers and carrots are special favorite treats. Benny is not much of a risk-taker - he waits for Charlotte to interact and play with new things before he risks the new items himself!
