This amazing exploration isn't offered anywhere to the general public, but here's your opportunity for a private charter of up to 25 people to experience our Science Education at Sea program, which is conducted entirely on a boat. Throw out the trawl net and help identify your catch when you pull it back on the boat, all while dolphin watching and getting up close with horseshoe crabs, plankton, and other marine animals. It's an all hands on deck experience you won't want to miss.

This 3-hour tour will have you departing and returning to Wildwood Crest at a mutually agreed upon date in September or October 2021, or wait until April, May, or June 2022. A majority of participants must be willing and able to physically assist with pulling the net onboard. Deckhands must be over the age of 5 and accompanied by an adult.

Cape May/Wildwood Location and Boat Information: The boat dock is located in Wildwood Crest, Cape May County, New Jersey. The cruise will take the group via the inland waterways through beautiful salt marshes, Cape May Harbor, out Cape May inlet and into the Atlantic Ocean.

The boat does not travel far from shore. We will be using the 105 foot Atlantic Star or the 70 foot Starlight of the Starlight Fleet, which are owned and operated by JJC Boats, Inc, a fully insured charter boat company. Both vessels are U.S. Coast guard inspected and certified and are extremely safe with ample seating, shelter, and two small bathrooms.
