Spend a morning monitoring diamondback terrapin nesting areas with our Research and Conservation team. This exclusive experience for you and a guest may include hand captures at nesting sites or net captures in creeks. There is no better place to learn about diamondback terrapins than in the field with our knowledgeable staff. You'll see first-hand the techniques we use to study these unique turtles of the marsh and get to know individual details about their population. This one-of-a-kind opportunity will highlight the importance of our conservation programs for this species.

The chance to be a research scientist for a day is limited to two guests on a mutually agreed upon date in June or July 2022 for up to 3 hours. Arrangements to be made at least one month in advance.
