Escape to a little slice of heaven on Lake Santeelah in the mountains of western North Carolina! Voted one of the 12 most beautiful lakes in America by Travel & Leisure, Santeelah is a hidden gem tucked away in the Nantahala National Forest that you won't soon forget.

You will spend 3 nights and 4 days at Point Judith at an agreed upon timeframe between September 2021 and September 2022. This is a cozy, lakeside home with three bedrooms and two bathrooms that comfortably sleeps 6. The upstairs master bedroom has a queen size bed with a sliding door opening to a large screened in porch and expansive views of the lake. Downstairs is a bedroom with two twin beds and a third bedroom with a large king bed. The living room has a gorgeous, hardwood vaulted ceiling and large windows that fill the house with natural light. Every room in the house has a view of the lake!

Stepping outside you will find three levels of decks practically on top of the water. The upper deck has a large screened porch with an outdoor patio where you can grill out or watch the stars. From the lower deck, its a few steps to the water where you'll find a dock and all the toys you need to enjoy a day on the lake. There are 2 kayaks, multiple floats and lifejackets available. Bring your fishing pole because Santeelah offers some of the best fishing in the Southeast with bass, crappie, and trout waiting to be caught! Boat rentals are also available nearby.

If you choose to venture out, the Joyce Kilmer Memorial Forest is 20 minutes away on the western end of the lake. It is a magical and unforgettable hike where you can see magnificent trees that reach 100 feet tall and have been standing for 400 years!

There are a few good restaurants nearby and an Ingles Supermarket 10 minutes away for your grocery needs. Keep in mind Graham County is a dry county, so be sure to bring your favorite beverages!
