This gorgeous 30 x 24 framed, oil painting was made by a late artist, Conrad Nelson. He was the Industrial Art Supervisor at Thiokol, Corinne, Utah for 18 years and became the owner of the Art Pump Studio in Utah. Read his obituary below for more information regarding his service to our country, personal life and artistic success.

"March 8, 1932 ~ September 18, 2015
Conrad Nelson, 83, passed away September 18, 2015. He was born in Salt Lake City to Vigo and Grace Nelson. He was the oldest of two sisters, Marilyn Nelson, Kathy Nelson and one brother, Bill Nelson (deceased).
After graduation from East High, he joined the U.S. Navy and served four years. Following his military service he attended the University of Utah majoring in Art.
On June 29, 1959, dad married our Mom, Jone Irene Mitchell, along with her three young children; Jeff Nelson, Salt Lake City, Jackie (Ralph) Kunz, Ogden and Kathy Griffin, Wellsville, Utah. What a wonderful family we've had.
After working at Thiokol for 18 years as an Industrial Art Supervisor he started his new adventure and opened the Art Pump Studio. He created many paintings selling them throughout the Western United States.
He was so proud taking Sunny, their puppy, to Wangsgards so he could show off Sunny's long eye lashes, while sitting on the bench.
Easter was the big family Holiday at the house. Dad planned way ahead where he was going to hide the $10.00 egg. Having their eight grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren running around hunting for the camouflaged egg made him so happy.
He was a big U of U fan and a fan of Da Bears. Whenever a football game was on, we knew he and Mom were sitting in front of the TV. (Hope there's Football in Heaven.)
Dad, we want you to know Mom couldn't have married a better man to be our Dad. Thank you, we are so proud of you and LOVE you so much!
Con donated his body to the University of Utah."
