Spend a day fly fishing at Wilson Creek Watershed (on the south face of Grandfather Mountain near Linville / Blowing Rock, NC) with Sam Johnson, expert at fly fishing and builder of custom bamboo fly rods. Johnson is the author of the "First in Class" book Fly Fishing the Blue Ridge Parkway, with a forward by Mark Woods, Superintendent of the Blue Ridge Parkway.

Mr. Johnson will provide your vintage bamboo fly rod and flies, transportation to and from the fishing site via vintage Land Rover Discovery II off-road vehicle, lunch, beer, cigars, and good conversation! Also included is a signed copy of his guidebook. Maybe you'll catch a big one!

Accommodations are for two nights at the Meadowbrook Inn. Your Deluxe King room features upgraded amenities including fireplaces, sunrooms with hill views, and oversized bathrooms.
