This unique terracotta container is handmade in Europe with high-quality clay that ensures the pottery to be sturdy and frost-proof. The New Native Gardens team will collaborate with the winner to design a planting in the pot that complements their personal style and environment. The arrangement can go inside or outside, sun or shade, and have a mixed planting or single variety. The vessel alone is roughly 20" wide by 14" tall, and weighs about 55 lbs. Once complete with the planting, it will be delivered and placed in the space by the team, and instructions for plant care will be provided.

About New Native Gardens: New Native Gardens was started in early 2020 by Matt McKenna and Jackson Giles. Matt is originally from Boston, Massachusetts and spent his career growing in the ranks of the floral and garden design industry there. He moved to Austin to be closer to his wife's family and get this dream business afloat. Luckily, his brother-in-law Jackson is an Acton School of Business graduate and has been hustling in the start-up world ever since. Jackson was born and raised in Austin. Both Matt (the "new") and Jackson (the "native") are excited to make this family business a part of the Austin community.
