ABOUT THE INN
The Mansion has been used for many different purposes over the recent years and was discovered by a local realtor, Mary Llewellyn, in the 1980s in a state of disrepair. Ms. Llewellyn saved the Mansion and with great research and resources, restored the home to its former glory. Subsequently, The Mansion was opened as a bed and breakfast and has continued to operate as such to the present day.

ACTIVITIES NEARBY
Emigsville is located within a 45 minute drive to tourist attractions in Gettysburg, our state capitol Harrisburg, Hershey and Lancaster, PA. Locally, the York area has much to offer, as well. For those who enjoy outdoor activities, we have the local Northern Central Railroad Hiking Trail (NCR), which spans over 40 miles beginning in Hunt Valley MD and ends in York. There are State Parks and many lakes for kayaking, fishing and hiking. Two great nearby mountain zoos are Lake Tobias and the Catoctin Mountain Zoo. In the winter months you can bring family and friends for fun on the slopes at Ski Roundtop and Ski Liberty, and for those who prefer indoor events, a tour of the Harley Davidson Factory is an absolute must. York boasts the National Watch and Clock Museum and located the famous workshop of Bluett Brothers Violins. York is also a melting pot of some of the best restaurants and cuisine around. Throughout the year, there are several events at the York Expo Center and the Appell Center for the Arts.

SMOKE FREE ROOMS
To preserve the nature of the nearly 200-year-old wooden structure of the home, The Mansion campus is smoke free, as are the guest rooms - no exception. There is a designated smoking area beyond the parking lot, and we ask smokers to dispose of their smoking material remains in the receptacle provided.

CHILDREN
Children over the age of twelve are welcomed to stay in the room for an additional $25.00 with a rollaway bed.

PETS
While there are German Shepherd pets on the property, no other pets are allowed on the property. Service animals are welcomed.
