This trip to the Little Corona del Mar or Laguna Beach tide pools can accommodate up to 8 people and will be guided by CUI's resident marine biologist, Dr. Sean Bignami, Associate Professor of Biology and Director of the CUI Marine Lab. You will enjoy an introduction to the rocky intertidal zone that includes information about local animal life and intertidal community ecology for a duration of up to 2 hours.

Available dates are dependent on appropriate tidal cycles, require planning at least 30 days in advance, and are contingent upon safe weather and wave conditions. All participants will be expected to follow local regulatory guidelines for tide pooling in a Marine Protected Area and current CDC health guidelines. For their safety, guests must be physically able to walk on uneven and sometimes slippery surfaces.
