Mila Hajjar is an Italian and Venezuelan architect, write and artist. In 1987, she graduated with honors in architecture from Universita Federico II, Naples, Italy and took courses at the University of Szomathely in Hungary. In 1992 attended Carabobo University in Venezuela.

As an artist, she has participated in more than a hundred and fifty exhibitions in the United States, Europe, Asia and Latin America. She won several International awards including the Soho International Art in New York, the International Art Show d' Estiu Catalonia, Spain and first prize Maneiro Art Salon, Venezuela. As a writer, she has written and illustrated the children's books "Mamá and Pupa" also translated into English ("Mom and Pupa"), and the novel "Mukimono" that in 2020 won first place as best mystery novel at the International Latino Book Award. Her stories have been published in the anthology "Historias que Cuentan", "La Mancha Mínima" and in "Todos Contamos". In 2015 she won the first prize in the short story contest "Cuentomania" and the second prize in "Cuéntale tu cuento a la Nota Latina".

She lives in Miami since 2004.
