"Un Paseo Nocturno" by Ramon Carulla

20 X 16 inches - Oil Canvas

Born in Havana, Cuba, in 1936 and moved to the United States in 1965. Shortly thereafter, in
1967, he had his first solo exhibition at the Bacardi Art Gallery in Miami, Florida. Since then, his
work has been exhibited in multiple solo and group exhibitions throughout the United States,
Canada, Mexico, Central and South America, Europe, Asia and Africa. Carulla's paintings are in
the permanent collections of 17 museums; The International Center for Contemporary Art
(Paris, France), Cincinnati Art Museum (Cincinnati, Ohio), City Art (Lodz, Poland), Museo Rufino
Tamayo (Mexico City, Mexico), Museum of Modern Art of Latin America (Washington DC),
National Art Center (Giza, Egypt), Museum of Contemporary Arts (Sao Paulo, Brazil), Sharjah Art
Museum (Sharjah, Dubai) to name a few. He has been the recipient of awards and recognitions
in Havana, Cuba; Miami, Florida; Coral Gables, Florida; New York, New York; San Juan, Puerto
Rico; Barcelona, Spain; Toronto, Canada; Mexico City, Mexico; and his work has been featured
