1914 Blue Seal $10 Note
The Federal Reserve began issuing currency in 1913. This extra fine $10 note is among the very first Federal Reserve pieces of currency. You will note that this piece was issued in St. Louis, Missouri and has a blue seal. Other Series of 1914 $10 bills have red seals. A most interesting observation is the fact that Andrew Jackson is pictured on the bill. He would remain there until 1929 when he was replaced by Alexander Hamilton and was then put on the $20 bill.
