LINDSAY (HALL) MCGOWEN attended Delaware County Christian School K-12 and is a stay-at-home mom who lives and creates in Newtown Square, PA. Her interest in art began as a young child and was encouraged to grow under the leadership of her teachers Jeannie Leaman and Linda Unger in middle and high school. After graduating from college, she pursued other professional endeavors, though her desire to "be an artist" never faded. Lindsay's passion for a variety of creative pursuits was again ignited by the birth of her first child in 2013. Her three children continue to be a source of inspiration as she explores a variety of subjects and styles through acrylic paint, watercolor, and mixed media material. On the act of creating, she says "I feel blessed and grateful for the opportunity to reflect God's glory in the act of creating. There was once a time when I feared I was not good enough but, through a number of circumstances in my life, God taught me that only He is a perfect creator. We are all just reflecting Him! Truly knowing this simple fact took the pressure off. Now I feel gratitude in knowing I can honor God by creating as an act of worship. It is a blessing to know that regardless of the outcome of what I make, He alone is good."
