"Falconry" is a part of an 8 piece visual art/instrumental recording project by artist Ann Coman (VA) and musician Barry Chabala (NM) entitled IN AND OUT OF FOCUS. It is a full-length recorded album of experimental improvisational guitar, electronics and voice set to visual artwork as a trance-like journey comparable to active meditation.

"Falconry", the 4th track/piece is an improvised overdubbed duo featuring an Gretsch Red Falcon Guitar played by Barry combined with beautiful electric tones. As the painter listening to this beautiful instrument, Ann called in the stealthy vision, bright life-force energy and acute focus of a peregrine falcon and that's how this painting wound up resembling the bird's eye.
