The Avalon Hotel rests quietly on Catalina Island which is approximately twenty-two nautical miles off of the Southern California coast of Long Beach. The island can be easily accessed by a relaxing hour-long passenger ferry ride on the Catalina Express. There are two ports on the island with transportation on the mainland being available from several Southern California ports. The Whittley Avenue address is within walking distance to most of the attractions, restaurants, and tour bases in the City of Avalon.

Each guest room offers handmade natural soaps and fully-lined bathrobes. This stay will include a booking in one of our balcony rooms, which has a partial ocean-view from outside on the balcony. All guest rooms include comfortable memory-foam beds by supple-pedic, premium linens, flatscreen TVs with cable channels, a desk, a microwave and refrigerator, and private bathroom. Continental breakfast is served in our garden and is brought inside on rainy days. Our roof-deck provides a special 360 degree view of town and the harbor with an amazing ocean view.
