Lightning was special from the day he was born; he had that strut on a perfectly structured frame that said he was the one to watch, and he is. Lightning is so soft made, hairy, big boned and has that crazy extra long neck extension to add to his show ring appeal. His dam is a full sister to Breathtaker 35Y so that makes him a genetic full brother to Hill Haven Firestorm 28C; can't get much better than that.

Maternally you can't build a better cow family than the Breathless/Breathtaker line here at Hill Haven; each new generation duplicates or exceeds the last one and Lightning is proof. Lightning's dam, Breathless Lola 18D, is a full sib to the famous Breathtaker 35Y and is carrying on the family's genetic greatness. Lola is moderate framed, has an excellent udder, has wonderful maternal attributes and she is sweet, docile in temperament. She is going into the Hill Haven donor program this year. Lightning has the genetic makeup to produce generations of maternally charged progeny and as a bonus, has that show ring appeal in his own right.
