Keynote Speaker Terry L. Fossum
was born in the poorest city in the U.S. McAllen, Tx, surrounded by gangs and drugs. In Junior High, he found himself staring down the barrel of an assault rifle one night in his own back alley.
In High School, his father was killed. Before Terry's father died, one of their neighbors came up to him and said, "I just want to make sure you understand something: Not a single one of your boys will ever grow up to be anything."
Terry overcame great obstacles to earn his Eagle Scout Award and develop a life-long love of Scouting. He went on to get his degree in Mechanical Engineering and become an Officer in the United States Air Force, where he was the Executive Officer for an entire group of Nuclear B-52 Aircraft. He then started a direct sales company, where he earned over a million dollars and set up teams around the globe.
Terry is an internationally-renown businessman, philanthropist, author, and keynote speaker, but is most proud of being a loving husband, and dad to three young gentlemen.
