Two hand-sketched, artistic drawings of the LACHSA building and the Luckman Fine Arts Complex, completed by an 8x10 inch, black frame. Drawn by LACHSA Piano Department Senior Nicole Lam.
Inspiration Behind the Work: "Being entirely virtual my senior year, these locations are two places on campus I miss the most. The front of LACHSA holds memories of the start of my journey: looking back on the audition process and the first time I step foot into the LACHSA building, I now see how incredibly blessed I am to be surrounded by students, teachers, and parents who dedicate so much of their time to ensure we get the best education. Till this day, I see our Music Gala at the Luckman Fine Arts Complex as one of the most joyous moments of my three years at LACHSA. I've always felt the gala to be a celebration of all disciplines of the music department, and I am certain that our virtual music festival will also display the irreplaceable talents of the LACHSA music department students. I couldn't be more proud to be a part of the graduating class of 2021."
