This signed bottle of Kings County Distillery Blender's Reserve is a 7 year old straight bourbon whiskey released to much acclaim in the spring of 2022. It is a highly curated blend containing whiskey from all five of the cask sizes (5, 10, 15, 30, and 53 gallon) that have been utilized throughout the distillery's 12-year history.

Bottled at cask strength, this year's release is an encapsulation of the blender's ongoing exploration of the complex relationship between age, cask size, warehouse location, and flavor profile through thoughtful attention to their craft. This whiskey was recently awarded a double gold medal at the prestigious San Francisco World Spirits Competition as well as a Double Platinum at Fred Minnicks's Ascot awards. A total of 269 bottles were produced.

This distinct whiskey combines the very best of Kings County's pot-still expression with several qualities of "super-aged" commercial offerings. A nose of integrated oak, ripe vine fruits, leather, and malted vanilla opens into a layered palate of dried berry, baker's chocolate, and winter spice, while an emerging note of tobacco leaf eventually leads to a robust, oak-forward finish. With a small amount of water added, additional caramels and browned oak sugars emerge.

Kings County Distillery is New York City's premier craft distillery and among the most acclaimed small distilleries in the United States. Focused exclusively on whiskeys, Kings County has made a name for itself with its use of traditional copper pot stills producing various Bourbons, Empire Rye, and other creative American whiskeys from New York grains.
