ZINFANDEL 2014 Sonoma Valley. HB Family Vineyard
This Zinfandel is produced from a small family vineyard, located on historic Old Winery Road in Sonoma. The grapes were harvested on October 20th. Native yeast fermentation occurred in stainless steel, open-top tanks. The wine was aged for 36 months in select French oak barrels. This elegant and refined Zinfandel has a well-balanced acidity, with hints of cherry, marzipan, vanilla, and black pepper. Eleven barrels were produced.

OLD VINE BLEND 2014 Sonoma Valley, Hoaglund Vineyard
A real frankenwine made from multiple varietals of red wine grapes. This field blend comprised of Zinfandel, Petite Sirah, Carignane, Barbera, Alicante Bouschet, and Early Burgundy is from a small vineyard, located in the town of Sonoma that was planted in the 1920s. It is a bit tannic, yet fruit-forward with notes of plum, melted chocolate, sage, and blueberries. Six barrels were produced.

PINOT NOIR 2015 Estate Vineyard Select, Sonoma Valley, Imai Tanaka Vineyard
The Estate Vineyard Select Pinot Noir comes from the Carr/Imai family property in Sonoma. The vines are Pinot Noir, clone 828, known for bold flavors. It was hand-picked from the rocky corner of the vineyard. This lean soil yields fewer grapes with more concentrated flavor. Only the free-run wine was barrelled. The wine has soft tannins, a velvety texture, and hints of mulberry, plum jam, currant, and star anise. Only four barrels were produced!
