The Trinity Lutheran Church Quilt Makers, Brainerd, MN is a group of 12-15 ladies (with one gentleman who ties our smaller quilts during the winter months...he says he needs to keep busy!) that normally meets twice a month to make quilts for missions. We make various sizes of quilts....baby to twin size bed. We all know the pandemic changed everything so we cut squares and sewed tops at home and then a small group met once a month to just tie quilts. We were able to donate 489 quilts in 2020; locally, 33 went to Teen Challenge and 4 to families in need; the remainder going to missions overseas. We also make and donate more professionally made quilts to Camp Knutson, Crosslake, MN; Luther Crest Bible Camp, Alexandria, MN; NE MN Synod World Hunger for their quilt auctions. We all believe that God has put us on earth to serve others and this is just one small way in which we can do that!

Quilt size: 70 inches x 81 1/2 inches. Also included is a matching pillow case.

All fabrics used are 100% cotton.

Batting is a blend of 80% cotton an 20% polyester.

Binding is a combination of machine and hand stitched.

The quilt was pieced and machine quilted by Sue Carroll of Nisswa, MN.

Custom quilted....you will see swirls, flowers, horse heads, etc.

Machine wash in cold water, delicate cycle, using a mild soap (Woolite is good). If drying in the drier use low heat or line dry.
