Donated by the Women of Hope in Walker; quilting by Ardyce Pederson.

I saw this quilt as a model in a quilt shop and true to many quilter decided I would like to make it. I do not need the quilt and thought I should find a home for. Knowing the synod holds a quilt auction each year I knew that would be a good place to send it so it would get a home.

The quilt is 64 x 66, a good size to drape over a sofa or hang. It has a sleeve on the back so it can easily be hung.

All the fabric in the quilt is 100 percent cotton.

The batting is 80/20 Hobs.

The binding was machine sewn onto the quilt and then hand finished on the back.

It is machine quilted by Brenda Marchwick, a friend and a long arm operator.

The quilting is an all over pattern of swirls and leaves.

The name of the quilt is "Wind Swept".

It can be machine washed and dried in your conventional laundry equipment.
