Donated by the United Lutheran Church of Proctor Quilters

The ULCP quilters have been quilting together for over 20 years, originally at Immanuel Lutheran Church and Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Proctor, and now we are one united group. We sew many types of quilts for various purposes and needs. Some quilts are given to various shelters in our area like Lutheran Social Services in Duluth, CHUM in Duluth, the Veteran's Home in West Duluth, etc.. Other quilts are made for our high school
graduates and the students are wrapped with their quilt on a Sunday around graduation time. We make lap quilts for our shut-ins. Other quilts are sewn for Lutheran World Relief and sent around the world through the
NE Minnesota Women's Gathering. This quilt was lovingly sewn for the Northeastern Minnesota Synod Quilt Auction. Proceeds from this auction are used to help end hunger and poverty.

The quilt measures 64 inches by 60 inches, a nice lap robe or twin bed size.

All fabric is 100% cotton.

Batting is 100% cotton.

Binding is first machine sewn and then hand sewn on the back side.

The quilt is machine quilted.

Quilting design is meandering.

The quilt pattern is a strip quilt with a wide variety of 2-1/2 inch strips.

The quilt is completely washable. No special instructions are needed.
