"A Day of Quilting"
On a cold wintery day, two of our quilters got together and created this quilt. They designed, cut, and pieced the two inch squares together to become this beautiful quilt top. They then brought it to our quilting gathering in February - our first one in a year - and donated it to be used for our missions. It was decided to use this beautiful quilt for the one of the event donations that we participate in each year, Camp Knutson, Synod World Hunger, and Camp Onamia. We also donate quilts to shelters, those in need, our high school graduates, and LWR. As the time approached for the World Hunger auction, it was thought we should have it machine quilted…well….you know, a machine can stop working but Lutheran volunteers do not! So at the last minute we gathered to tie this beautiful quilt to meet the deadline. A lot of Love and fellowship has gone into this quilt to be shared. Our hope is it brings warmth, Love and the much needed help for World Hunger.
