19Perched atop an old wood fence, the small chunky Carolina Wren is accepting from her mate the last piece of straw to finish off their nest, preparing for the babies to come. Spring flowers are in full bloom while the remnants of winter wave in the foreground.
John A. Ruthven, noted for his very lifelike, Audubon style art, created this offset lithograph exclusively for CET as part of the Channel 48 Songbirds of Ohio Series II. Plate II is from 2003 and there were only 250 prints ever created.
The 13 1/2 by 17-inch unframed print is numbered and double signed, and must be picked up at CET or ThinkTV as shipping is not available.
Donor value is $300.
