STEM Conference

Explore the brand-new and reimagined STEM event of the year--a two-day virtual festival of all things innovative, experimental, and exploratory!

Delve into the exciting STEM experiences of your choice: maybe you want to turn an empty space in your neighborhood to a bee sanctuary, or engineer some ways to make life a little easier for people recovering from injuries. You could even take a deep dive into the wonders of 3D printing!

Plus, each day features an amazing keynote speaker. On Saturday, you'll get to meet Tiera Fletcher, an award-winning aerospace engineer who, upon graduating from MIT in 2017, joined NASA's team working to send humans to Mars! Then on Sunday, Maris Wicks, a writer and illustrator of science comics (including DC, Marvel, and Spongebob!), will share all about how she brings the thrills of science to life through stories and art.

The conference runs 10 AM-6PM. You will be choosing your own schedule, so you can join live for as many or as few workshops as you want. Check out our current workshop offerings. Most workshops will also be available to you post event as recordings.

All STEM Conference participants will receive a copy of Tiera's book, Wonder Women of Science, as well as a swag bag with fun merch from GSEMA and local STEM groups!
