Pescatravel is pleased to offer the following one week itinerary for two persons with the Glenmore Rivers Lodge. This package includes 6 nights lodging at Glenmore Rivers Lodge in a double bed room, full board during stay including beer and wine with meals, 4 days guided fishing with 4x4 vehicles, one guide per 2 guests, fishing license for Finn River, 1 day of guided sightseeing in the local area and 1 day of sightseeing/ lodging in Dublin. The area of the River Finn managed by the Glenmore Rivers Estate includes 60 kilometers of excellent fly waters on two separate rivers, the River Finn and its main tributary the River Reelin in the County of Donegal. These are shallow waters ideal for fly fishing with floating lines and small flies. Strong runs of salmon from the Foyle Estuary and the aggressive nature of these fish make the Finn a fabulous salmon fishing destination in the Spring and the Summer. During the last 5 years the average annual catch is estimated at 2500 salmon. Fishing Itinerary: Day 1: arrive at Dublin, Belfast or Derry Airport and transfer by road to Ballybofey. Get settled in and have dinner at the Lodge. Days 2-6: 4 full days of guided fishing on private boats on the River Finn and 1 day of guided sight-seeing in the local area Day 7: Departure from lodge after breakfast and travel to Dublin for 1 day of sight-seeing and lodging at the Premier Academy Plaza. Note: Transfers between Dublin and lodge and hotel and airport are not included and sightseeing is NOT guided. Not included: Personal expenses, travel insurance, tips, airport transfers, cab fares.
