Great Southern Outdoors is in the Bird Dog Field Trial Capital of the World - Union Springs, Alabama. Quail hunting in this area has been a gentleman's sport since the 1800's when plantation owners would get together for some friendly competition. It is as much fun now as it was a hundred years ago, with our well-trained bird dogs, classic Southern cuisine, and gracious hospitality. Great Southern Outdoors' staff of outdoor professionals are committed to delivering serious fun and a quality Alabama Quail Hunting experience. You are sure to have a memorable experience watching well-trained dogs work, exercising your wing shooting skills, and just being in the Great Southern Outdoors. Great Southern Outdoors was chosen as one of four plantations in Alabama to host Quail Forever, RealTree, and Alabama Black Belt Adventures in February of 2018, showcasing the rich habitats that support generations of quail hunting traditions in the south. What you will get: Your package includes a split Full-day hunt for two (2) bird shooters arriving on day one at 1:00 p.m. You will get checked into your room and prepare for your afternoon hunt. After your hunt you will return to the lodge for a delicious meal and relaxing social time before retiring to your room. The following morning you will join us in the main activity center for breakfast before your morning hunt then return for lunch and depart. Included in the hunt are 20 birds per hunt with the option to add additional bird Package ($600 75 birds). Lodging is Double occupancy in our Hunters Hideout Lodge. Private rooms are available for an additional fee on a first come basis. Additional hunters can also be added to your group at the normal rate. Shotguns, Shells and gratuities are not included.
