Edinburgh

Edinburgh is the ideal starting point for a trip through the history of scotch whisky and the sacred sites of golf. You can also immerse yourself in fascinating places like Stirling, whose castle is one of the most impressive of the United Kingdom. Get lost in the Old Town topped by the Edinburgh Castle, admire the Georgian splendor of the New Town, and climb Calton Hill for outstanding views.

You will stay for 6 nights in 2 rooms in a charming boutique hotel where you will enjoy a chic and elegant experience for the duration of your stay.

Scotch Whisky

The reason for your trip is to visit 2 traditional single malt distilleries near Edinburgh and in the Stirling's area. You will start with a visit to The Famous Grouse Glenturret Distillery in Crieff, which will definitely live up to its 5-star visitor attraction status with gorgeous surroundings and excellent tastings. Your other visit will be to the Deanston distillery where you will journey through time from their beginnings as a cotton mill to their creation of a modern-day distillery, guided by a passionate team of craftsmen and tasting their prized single malt. (Transportation included.)

Now, food and whisky is an extraordinary match when done correctly. The right combination will delight your taste buds and exalt the flavors to new heights. Golf

In addition to Scotch, your attention will also turn to the game of golf in the land where it was invented. One of your golf experiences will immerse you in history and challenge your skills! The Duddingston Golf Club dates back to 1895 and offers a challenging course and first-class club facilities. Set in a tranquil and lush green environment, with the river Braid Burn winding through the parkland and with the impressive Arthur's Seat as a backdrop, the golf club will definitely inspire you! Historic excellence, sweeping fairways, and extensive clubhouse services… all just 10 minutes from the center of Edinburgh. (Transportation not included.)

Then on another day, your group will have a tee time at Craigielaw Golf Club. Opened in 2001 and designed by Donald Steel & CO, the course is located on the East Lothian coast, about 30 minutes from Edinburgh, in what is famously known as the golfing county. Test your golfing abilities on the 18-hole course and enjoy some of the most spectacular views that overlook the Firth of Forth. The challenge of cavernous bunkers and sandy dunes combined with a great clubhouse and a picture-perfect setting positions this young and modern club right up there with the best of them!
