Choose two boating courses (virtual options available) from those being offered, such as:

• America's Boating Course (ABC3) - This is an in-depth boating safety course that is taught periodically by member instructors who have broad experience in boating. It provides basic knowledge to become a more competent boater and is recognized by Colorado for a boat operator's permit.
• Boat Handling - This builds your competence and confidence on the water with an in-depth look at the practical boating skills.
• Advanced Boating Courses - America's Boating Club of Colorado teaches a series of certified courses that cover advanced boating topics. These instructor-based classes are typically 6-8 weeks in duration. These courses include subjects such as seamanship, navigational techniques, boat systems, sailing, and more.

Coming soon:

• Marine Navigation - a course in basic coastal and inland navigation, begins on May 4, 2021.
• Advanced Marine Navigation - includes electronic navigation, to be offered in the Fall/Winter 2021.
• Weather - a hands-on experience with marine weather, given by a salty sailor meteorologist.

Additional Courses: Celestial and other advanced Navigation courses, Cruising and Cruise Planning, Engine Maintenance, Marine Communications Systems, Marine Electrical Systems, Electronic Navigation Systems, and Sail are offered as requested.

Our courses are live on Zoom and recorded and are available to registered students for
review. As we open up to in-person classes, we will continue to offer live virtual classes
on Zoom, recordings are available and will help many students who want to review a
course or learn remotely.
