1Name and adopt Galveston Bay dolphin #302, a robust and healthy male dolphin that was first sighted by our team in August 2015. His distinct fin, with a flat top, helps researchers spot him easily.
He is a very active guy! Often seen interacting with shrimp trawlers, bow-riding on large ships, socializing in large groups and always pursuing female dolphins. He is most likely the father to multiple calves in Galveston Bay!
He has been sighted 18 times throughout upper and lower Galveston Bay. Often seen in upper Galveston Bay in the Fall and Summer months.
