comprised of a main residence with 4 lake view suites, a separate lake view owner's suite, sports bar, infinity edge pool with heated spa, and a separate multi-car garage with an employee's apartment.

VBA's main residence has 2 levels. The main level includes 2 suites, fully equipped kitchen, large dining area, a Zen Water Garden, 2 waterfalls, and a living and entertainment area. Upstairs, there are two suites and a large terrace. The 2nd floor area is open to below with a 25 ft ceiling and overlooks the kitchen, dining, and entertainment area. Upstairs you will find The VBA Gallery featuring original Costa Rican works provided by local artists.

When you read about Costa Rica's outdoors, in many cases you're reading about the general Lake Arenal region. Lake Arenal is the largest lake in Costa Rica at 85-square-kilometre (33 sq mi). Its depth varies between 30 and 60 meters (100-200 feet).

Lake Arenal is at 1800 feet elevation. VBA is another 200 feet above the lake, so it's right at a very comfortable 2000 feet above sea level.

As compared to the Pacific coast, the Lake Arenal weather is cooler & fresher night & day, and the vistas are lush and green all year round. The view and atmosphere around the lake is a breath of fresh, clean, mountain air, with several volcanic mountain ranges visible in the distance, and it's about as relaxing a place as you will ever visit.
