Dear Friends and Family,
If you know me at all, you know that I am passionate about PGCRC. I believe in our mission - to help create healthy and nurturing environments for children by supporting their families and educating their caregivers - and believe that the staff of PGCRC is advancing that mission with excellence. I am now in my 11th year with this organization, first as a child care provider and then as a Board Member. I am so proud of the work we do. Even in this world of virtual home visits, telehealth, virtual training, and endless zoom meetings, we are making a difference.
In November, I would normally host a fundraiser at the Habor Scrapbooking Crop. These amazing ladies would have a lot of fun creating baskets for the raffle and supporting PGCRC. We have raised from $1600 - $2000, of which I would normally submit the donation on Giving Tuesday so that it would be doubled! This year, things are vastly different.
It is our 30th anniversary. We thought we would have a big celebration! Then we thought we would have at least a virtual one. In the end, with 2020 being what it was, we settled on the 30 campaign: I am hoping that at least 30 of you will give at least $30 during these 30 days to celebrate our 30th anniversary.
In 2020, everything changed, and it has been a hard year. Yet here we are, moving forward in spite of all the challenges. I know there are many worthy organizations where you might choose to give. Please consider making PGCRC one of them.
