Thank you for your interest in The English Christmas Sale! This is a strong lineup of English genetics, Angus and Herefords. Open and bred heifers plus special genetic lots.

Our kids have aged out of showing and it is now your turn to have fun with these genetics. We started showing 12 years ago starting last in class and ending our junior showing last year in Denver with the Reserve Grand Champion Hereford Female - a full sister sells here!

The #1 thing we learned along the way is that is if you don't buy the right genetics, you will not be standing in the backdrop in the long run. We not only invested in good cattle, we invested in proven genetics and that is what you are seeing in this sale. The cattle offered will work in the show ring or in a commercial cattle operation. We have provided brief footnotes on the cattle for your reference. ALL CATTLE ARE BROKE TO TIE AND SOME ARE SHOW BROKE. The footnotes are complements of Lindsey, our daughter, who was a part of the Western Illinois University Judging Team that placed second overall in Kansas City and Louisville. Please call with any questions anytime as we want you to be able to bid with confidence.

All of the heifers are on display on the farm every day and we will be happy to service what we sell.

All but one of the heifers are Buckeye Breeders Series eligible. Affordable delivery is available anywhere in the USA and cattle may be loaded out immediately after the auction.

This Auction has a horse race style finish. Every time someone bids during the last 5 minutes of the auction the clock will extend 5 more minutes until no one bids for an entire 5 minutes. Please note that this countdown duration may be changed without notice during the auction.

SmartAuctions will invoice all buyers and release the lot after payment is received. A credit/debit card will be required ONLY to verify identity of bidders, but you will not be charged for your purchases on your card UNLESS you specifically choose that option or you have not paid for your purchases prior to 30 days after the auction closes. Your credit card will be charged if payment has not been received within 30 days after purchase or arrangements have not been communicated. If you pay with a card you will be charged a 5% transaction fee. If you pay by check after receiving an invoice via e-mail from SmartAuctions the 5% transaction fee is automatically waived.
