Brenda loves her beef! She loves it so much her family raises their own Angus cattle and have helped serve many a Hot Beef Sundae at the Iowa State Fair for a while now! Every year, fair-goers from around the country enjoy a Hot Beef Sundae at the Iowa State Fair Cattlemen's Beef Quarters.

For many years, our company has supplied the succulent, juicy shredded beef for this iconic fair food. With the unfortunate cancellation of the State Fair in August 2020, we decided to bring this familiar favorite straight to your home and onto your table!

What are hot beef sundaes?
These are just like hot fudge sundaes, just with warm, hearty ingredients! So in a way you can have dessert for dinner! The mashed potatoes are the "ice cream." The shredded beef and gravy are the "hot fudge." Shredded cheese as the "sprinkles" with sour cream as the "whipped cream." And of course you top it with a "cherry" tomato! All you have to do for this delicious treat is reheat the shredded beef, whip up the mashed potatoes, and heat the gravy. Start with putting mashed potatoes in a bowl topped with shredded beef and gravy. Top with cheese, sour cream, and a cherry tomato! Or maybe twist it up and use BBQ sauce instead of gravy. We heard this is the Ohio way!
