Pride and Joy. The first line of Stevie Ray Vaughn's song reminds us of the power of faith, "Well you've heard about love givin' sight to the blind." Marcus Hummon's musical mass is a testament to love and faith. You will receive TWO vinyl copies - one framed - signed by Christopher Roberts, Rachel Beauregard, Dave Ragland, Luisa Lopez, Laura Donohue, Michael Kelsh, The Bittersweets (Hannah Prater Meyers and Chris Meyers), Greg Bieck and Marcus Hummon. One to hang and one to spin. The musical mass was composed by GRAMMY-winning singer-songwriter and Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame inductee, Marcus Hummon. "Although classical at times, the music also borrows from folk and Celtic traditions, and it reflects the diversity of St. Augustine's Chapel and Nashville's music community. It was a great gift to be commissioned by my own church community, and when writing lyrics or selecting liturgy, I reflected on its emphasis on social justice, caring for God's creation, and on our calling to love." Courtesy of all the amazing artists involved in the project.
