From the founding of Hopkins School in 1660 to that of Barack H. Obama Magnet University School, New Haveners have taken school seriously for hundreds of years. Whether public or private, neighborhood or magnet, charter or charity, spanning from K-12 to Culinary Arts, Hillhouse Academics to Yale Bulldogs, New Haven has been on the forefront of educational innovation since 1660. You and up to 9 friends can join this 2.5 hour bike tour to learn about the storied history of schooling in the Elm City. Bike tours will start and end at the New Haven Green and require all riders to wear a well-fitting helmet. The tour will involve riding on residential streets and dedicated bike lanes, involve a few short inclines suitable for novice riders, and require all riders to obey applicable traffic rules. The tour can be scheduled for any weekend day with good weather April 1, 2021 - August 1, 2021. Value: Priceless!
