For the Love of Frida

Our celebration launches with a mixologist demonstration from premium tequila lounge, La Tequilaría. La Tequilaria was awarded the esteemed "Distintivo T" certification (2019) the only establishment awarded in Illinois, for promoting the authenticity, quality, and culture of tequila. The party continues with a culinary encounter with a former contestant on Bravo's "Top Chef" (2013) and the only Mexican chef to receive a Michelin star (2013, 2014), Chef Carlos Gaytán of the internationally-acclaimed restaurant, Tzuco, semifinalist in the James Beard Foundation Awards' "Best New Restaurant" category (2020).

While dining, enjoy virtual highlights of the Olmedo Museum in Mexico, home to the treasured Frida Kahlo: Timeless collection; music by the Grammy Award-winning Mariachi Divas, Disneyland's official all-female mariachi ensemble; plus a paddle raise and silent auction to round out the festivities.

Attending For the Love of Frida: Bringing It Home

A unique link to the virtual celebration will be sent to you on Friday, March 19 via the email you used when you completed your purchase.
If you purchased the Full Virtual Experience, your three-course dinner for two will be delivered to your home (or address noted in your registration) by 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 20. Your meal will be ready to go with minor work on your part to re-heat, all instructions will be provided.

Auction
Beginning Thursday, March 18, go to www.frida2.givesmart.com and click Items where you can browse the Silent Auction and choose from the many great items you would like to bid on.
