The 7th Grade presents another unique set of t-shirts with 4 designs, themed "Synchronicities". Each design features 3 deities from 3 major mythological traditions: West African (Akan and Yoruba), Norse, and Greek. These t-shirts are designed by a talented WSA current parent and artist!

Purchase a bundle of all 4 shirts for $100, or one shirt for $30. Kids, Women's & Mens/Unisex styles/sizes are available. Please note your style & size for each shirt design/number!

#1 Mighty Goddesses (Yellow): Oshun, a river Orisha, from the Yoruba tradition of West Africa, crowns this triad. Oshun is also associated with love, beauty, and life giving waters, and she is complemented by her Norse counterpart, Freya, as well as Artemis, from the ancient Greek tradition.

#2 Thunder Gods (Brick Red): Zeus and Thor are well known as the quintessential gods of thunder, from Greek and Norse mythology, respectively, but did you know about Shango? According to legend, Shango was a powerful ruler who was elevated to become an Orisha, or powerful spiritual deity, one who is able to remove obstacles for those who pray to him.

#3 Tricksters (Teal Blue): This trio shows two well known tricksters, Hermes (Messenger / God of thieves), and Loki (Trickster and shapeshifter in his disguise as a hare), all dancing upon the web of Anansi: The spider trickster/teacher of the Akan people of West Africa.

#4 Earth Mothers (Green): These lesser known deities have been overshadowed by their better known offspring, but according to some older tales, life on earth was started by these mothers. Gaea, Fjorgyn and Odua (of the Yoruba tradition) are all shown holding hands around planet earth.
