Welcome to Hollow Top Angus's inaugural Fall Production Sale! 

This sale includes our first group of bred commercial heifers. There are two groups of these heifers, one group of 10 will be AI'd and have a due date on approximately March 7, the second group will be bull bred and have a due date of March 25. They are largely daughters of our registered cow herd. The AI'd heifers will have calves sired by a mix of Sitz Profound 680G and KG Justified 3023. All heifers spent the summer ranging at elevations between 5,900 and 7,200 feet. All were PAP tested at about 5,900 feet and had scores lower than 44.

All of the bulls sold in the sale will be fully warranted if they are injured during their first breeding season which is defined as the 90 day period commencing with their turn-out. If they are injured and cannot return to service, we will attempt to replace them with a comparable bull if available. If one is not available, we will provide a credit toward a future purchase for the purchase price minus any salvage value paid to the customer for the bull.

Delivery service will be provided by Hollow Top Angus. If the destination is to a site in Montana or a contiguous state, transportation will be provided free of charge. For deliveries to states that are not contiguous, transportation charges will be based on estimated costs.

Hollow Top will also feed and care for your bull purchases at our Pony Development Center. While we encourage customers to take delivery as soon as is practical, we will care for the bulls based on the recommendations of Tod Shenton, our nutritionist, through March 2021. This Auction has a horse race style finish. Every time someone bids during the last 5 minutes of the auction the clock will extend 5 more minutes until no one bids for an entire 5 minutes. Please note that this countdown duration may be changed without notice during the auction.

SmartAuctions will invoice all buyers and release the lot after payment is received. A credit/debit card will be required ONLY to verify identity of bidders, but you will not be charged for your purchases on your card UNLESS you specifically choose that option or you have not paid for your purchases prior to 30 days after the auction closes. Your credit card will be charged if payment has not been received within 30 days after purchase or arrangements have not been communicated. If you pay with a card you will be charged a 5% transaction fee. If you pay by check after receiving an invoice via e-mail from SmartAuctions the 5% transaction fee is automatically waived.
