Your child will get to join Ms. McIntosh as Assistant Head of School for the day! They will have an early morning (7:25 AM) start taking temperatures and greeting students as they arrive in the Main Highway Parking Lot. Then they will head to Starbucks for some hot chocolate. After that, they will walk the campus to check on everyone and make sure all is well. Your child will get to order lunch from any Grove restaurant they choose and, while they wait for lunch to arrive, they will compose an email to the families, faculty, and staff letting them know about a special lunch and Shed Your Threads to come. (Your child and Ms. McIntosh will plan what this is ahead of time.) Your child can choose one friend to join them for lunch; eating socially distanced of course! They will then have lunch/recess duty with two different Cohorts. You can plan a special activity for them if you like! After lunch, they will plan something new, different, and exciting for when the school no longer has to follow strict COVID Protocols. It will definitely be cause for celebration! They will end the day with an ice cream from the shop right next to school or a treat from Fireman Derek's.

Teacher treats expire at the end of the 2020-2021 school year.
