7 Watchers

Spain is famous for producing some of the best wines the world has to offer. Albarino from the coasts of Galicia, Garnacha from the former Kingdom of Aragon, and Tempranillo from the renowned Ribera del Duero appellation are all must-tries for any wine lover or aspiring wine enthusiast.

You can enjoy a beautiful selection of these fine wines for a whole year! That's right, a selection of 72 bottles, including 24 bottles of Albarino, 24 of Garnacha, and 24 of Ribera del Duero can be yours for a fraction of their retail price.

Wine Selection:

VIEIRA DE PLATA

Albarino

VINTAGE: 2019

PRODUCER: Bodegas As Laxas

LOCATION: Arbo, Pontevedra (Galicia)

APPELLATION: Rias Baixas

VARIETALS: 100% Albarino

ALCOHOL: 13.5% Alc.

NOTES:

The scallop's shell ("vieira" in Spanish) is much more than delicious seafood and the perfect pairing for this extraordinary white; it is the official symbol of Galicia, a unique region in northwestern Spain with gaelic roots and green fiord-like slopes that meet the Atlantic sea forming the renowned "Rias". Floral, tropical-fruit aromas suggest orange and mango. This is juicy and under control on the palate, with dry white-fruit and citrus flavors. On the finish, it shows ample freshness and length.

50+

Old Vine Garnacha

VINTAGE: 2018

APPELLATION: Campo de
Borja

VARIETALS: 100% Garnacha
from 50+ year-old vines

AGEING: 4 months in oak

ALCOHOL: 14.5%

TASTING NOTES:

Medium garnet color with a blue rim. On the nose it showcases aromatic notes of violets, raspberries and black pepper. Fresh, clean and velvety with a hint of bacon and smoke. Solid structure with sweet tannins and a rosemary and thyme aromatic
finish.

SENORIO DEL SOTILLO CRIANZA

Ribera del Duero

VINTAGE: 2016

PRODUCER: Bodegas Arroyo

LOCATION: Sotillo de la Ribera
(Burgos)

APPELLATION: D.O. Ribera del
Duero

VARIETALS: 100% Tempranillo

AGEING: 12 months in American and
French oak barrels

ALCOHOL: 14.5%

TASTING NOTES: Intense cherry red with medium to high opaqueness. Aromas of cinnamon, cumin, and vanilla that give way to black and red fruits. Velvety and elegant in the mouth
with ripe tannins. The acidity blends in perfectly with a reminiscence of vanilla, cinnamon, toffee, cocoa, tobacco, and
exquisite flavors of clean leather.

Only available to current SSEDS families.
