About the Artist: Mirtha Arriaran

Just give Mirtha Arriaran a bare space-no matter it's size nor it's location and it will by her personal challenge to turn it into a dreamy, magical, sophisticated, cozy and beautiful place to live.

When Mirtha arrived in the Sunshine State, her goal was to become an interior designer. The University of International Fine Arts was just across the Venetian Causeway and her absolute purpose.

Her first project was in Quito, Ecuador for a very prestigious family. Together they travelled often to Europe to purvey furniture, rugs, art, fabrics. It turned out to be a fabulous project and experience and since then, there was no stopping her .

Mirtha refers to her projects as my "children," from conception to birth, and loves them all dearly. Her proudest extensive achievements are the Continuum North Tower Lobby, the Portofino Tower Lobby and the Icon on South Beach.

In Miami, her projects can be found at the Continuum North and South Towers, Murano Portofino, Zaha Hadid Residential, 1000 Venetian, Bentley, Jade Beach, Jade Ocean, Apogee, Marquis, The St. Regis Bal Harbor, The Ritz Carlton Sunny Isles, Turnberry amongst others in New York.

She also has projects in Brazil, Argentina, Ecuador, Europe, Trinidad Tobago and Bolivia
