In Memory of Beatrice Young

Ever since I was a little girl, I always remember my Mother had a book in her hands. She would read early morning, after dinner, very late at night, on the weekends and on long car rides. She had her favorite authors, James Patterson, Debbie Macomber, Vince Flynn and her favorite book, Pride and Prejudice.

About 20 years ago, she lost 90% of her vision to Macular Degeneration. My mother was a Breast Cancer survivor but the most devastating illness she experienced caused her to lose her eye site. It was difficult in the beginning, but she started watching/listening to celebrity chefs, she started listening to audio books and shared her love of books with her three grandchildren.

We lost my Mom 18 months ago to Metastatic Breast Cancer which spread to her Liver. She will be forever missed by our family but will live forever in our memory.
