In memory of my best friend Jean Clancy Strobel.

Jean Strobel was my best friend.

We moved into our homes across the street from each other only three months apart. We both had two year old babies and another baby on the way. Our husbands traveled all the time so we bonded quickly.

We did everything together with our families . . . spending holidays, weekends and vacations together.

When my mother became ill, Jean and Barry were always there to help us take care of her. My mother loved her like another daughter.

Our families completely blended, she raised my children and I raised hers. Jean was my children's other mother and they worshipped her.

Jean was a fiercely determined person, fair, kind, loving, gentle and strong in faith. She was the bravest and most courageous person I have ever seen in her nine year battle with breast cancer before leaving us on June 2, 2017.

We miss her every day but feel blessed to have Barry, a truly devoted and loving husband and their two beautiful children, Colleen and Brendan Strobel, in our lives.

We love you Jean Clancy Strobel.
