Celebrate local restaurants and farms at Sustainable Food Center's spring Garden Party!

Held in the beautiful gardens of Barr Mansion, you'll enjoy a unique (safe and socially distanced) entirely outdoor picnic experience featuring delicious, exclusive meals prepared by Austin's top chefs. Choose your meal from your favorite restaurant, and your picnic basket will be prepared just for you! You'll also enjoy live music, our annual Sustainable Food Changemaker Award ceremony, as well as local beer, wine, and artisan cocktails. The Garden Party also features a live and silent auction filled with exclusive items and experiences.

All proceeds support our local farmers and increase critical access to healthy, local food in Central Texas.

*In the event of inclement weather or increased COVID-19 safety concerns, this event will move to a virtual experience. Meals and drinks will be provided for you to enjoy at home.

AT THE GARDEN PARTY

COVID-19 Safety Protocols:

Masks are required at all times, except while seated and eating or drinking.
Social distancing will be maintained. Picnic blankets are limited to groups of 4, and all blankets will be placed 6 feet apart. Please note, we reserve the right to ask any guests who aren't adhering to our social distancing guidelines to leave.
Meals will be individually prepared off site and placed in COVID-19 safe containers.
Hand-wash and sanitization stations will be available throughout the venue and must be used immediately upon entry.

What Else to Expect:

Dress: Dressy casual. This picnic-style event will be held on a grassy lawn and seating will be on the ground, high-heeled shoes are not recommended.
Seating: We ask everyone who is able to sit on the complimentary blankets we are providing for all parties, to allow for all guests to have visibility of the band and program. Plus, you get to take home your blanket at the end of the night! However, please let us know if you or your guests have accessibility needs that require a chair, and we can provide one for you.
Tickets: The Garden Party is a ticketless event. Simply provide your name at registration upon arrival. One ticket = 1 meal.
Children at the Picnic: Children 12 & under must stay with their parents at all times. They will be counted as a guest on your picnic blanket, however, they will not be charged the cost of the ticket.
No outside food or drink will be permitted. Please bring empty water bottles for filling from our water stations.
