These 100% handcrafted coasters are unique, luxurious, and durable. They are functional art pieces that make a statement while blending in with any kind of home decor. Each piece is handmade and finished with genuine leather from Italy. All coasters by Kofi are made from deadstock buttons, which means they are materials that are leftover from the fashion industry. Some of these buttons would have ended up in landfills, but instead have a second-life as beautiful coasters or pins.

Kofi Effah

Kofi Effah is a button artist that creates large scale wall pieces made out of reclaimed buttons. Sewing is one of the oldest art forms known to man, and Kofi has found this to be his form of self-expression. Born in Ghana, he moved to the US in 2010 to follow his dreams of becoming an artist and entrepreneur. He is also the proud owner of Coffee by Kofi, a local coffee shop located in downtown Los Angeles. You can stop by his shop for a great cup of coffee and watch him create his art pieces live!
