Burgundy Superstars! Four-bottle collection of very rare Burgundy wines.

2016 Chateau-Fuissé Pouilly-Fuissé Tête de Cru

Pale yellow with a green tinge. Riper but more subdued than the Saint-Véran, showing more yellow fruits than green, with aromas of peach, orange zest and spices. Tactile, fresh wine with good texture to its peach and citrus flavors, along with a touch of creaminess from élevage on its lees. This fruit was picked at 13% potential alcohol. A very rich, pliant Pouilly-Fuissé, but showing modest nuance and perfume today.

90 points, Steven Tanzer

2014 Albert Bichot Criots-Batard-Montrachet Grand Cru

The 2014 Criots-Bâtard-Montrachet Grand Cru has a delightful, mineral-driven nose with touches of white flower and baking powder infusing the comely citrus fruit. The palate is very well balanced with nicely integrated oak. It does not quite have the tension or length of say, Olivier Lamy's Criots, but there is refinement and tenderness here, with hints of almond and coconut delicately interwoven on the finish. Lovely.

92-94 points, The Wine Advocate

2 bottles 2014 Domaine Bruno Clair Chambertin Clos de Bèze Grand Cru

Bright medium red. Pungent lift to the aromas of pomegranate, cranberry and flowers. Fine-grained but tightly wound, even a bit imploded today, conveying a powerful impression of energy and lift. Not an especially fleshy wine but wonderfully precise and complete, with an extremely long finish that shows more saline minerality than primary red fruits. This youthfully taut wine is going to require extended aging.
