Dylan was an original. He marched to the beat of his own drum and did not care what anybody thought about that. He was so loving and kind. He always had a smile and you would never see him in a bad mood. Every day was a great day for him. It didn't matter what had happened that day, he always had a positive outlook. He was the kind of student that would help anybody in need. He was not the most social of teenagers but if you were his friend, you were his friend for life. He loved running, drawing, pokemon, Star Wars, Smash Bros, and other things that may be a typical 17 year old wouldn't be interested in, but that was Dylan.

Thanks to all of you who have supported us, we were able to create a permanent scholarship to celebrate those like Dylan that might not have the best grades but give their all and use their kindness, creativity, and uniqueness to make the world a better place.

We are now turning our attention to having Dylan's life create a much bigger impact by starting a fund to support #runforDylan in partnership with the Denton Public School Foundation until we finalize our own 501c3. While we know that heart testing would not have been able to detect what took Dylan from us, we would like to do what we can to help prevent other families from going through the pain of our experience. To do this we have started #runforDylan where we will raise the funds needed to provide heart testing through electrocardiograms (ECG or EKG) for the student-athletes of Denton ISD.

$18 for Dylan's 18th birthday.

On February 2, 2021, Dylan would have turned 18. Please consider donating $18 for Dylan's 18th birthday so we can give the gift of heart testing to other families. We were excited to raise $10810 for a Scholarship endowment in Dylan's name. All funds raised above that amount will go to Heart Testing and CPR/AED training.
