Join AFS Member David Boyarski for a day of Smallmouth Bass fishing on the famed Green Bay in Door County, Wisconsin.

We will spend a day (~8 hours), or can break it up into two shorter trips, fishing for Smallmouth Bass in nearshore areas of Door County. We will fish from a 16-foot boat and play the winds and weather as to specific fishing locations (no busting across the bay in 5-foot waves on this trip!). Spring, pre-spawn period in May, is one of the better times for both numbers and size of Smallmouth Bass, but anytime throughout the summer is still worth the trip. There are also plenty of other activities in the area, ranging from five state parks and other natural areas with hiking trails, kayaking rentals and tours, and plenty of other fishing opportunities, as well as a wide variety of bed and breakfasts, restaurants, wineries, and orchards.

Details:

• Make your way to Door County, Wisconsin.
• I can accommodate up to two anglers cozily but comfortably and can provide angling gear, if needed.
• All experience levels welcome, as well as families. Can accommodate up to three, if bringing children, for a family outing, with the associated tangles and snacks spilling everywhere.
• Winner is responsible for obtaining fishing licenses and lodging. Lower-cost camping options are available.
• Expires September 30, 2021. Work with Dave to arrange date and other details.
• Fishing can be incredible, but no guarantees. Should have a great time though and be able to see some Great Lakes vistas.
